Photofacial (Broad Band Light)
Intense Pulse Light (IPL) can treat a range of skin conditions at the same time. IPL works by filtering various wavelengths of light to react with specific skin conditions, effectively stimulating skin cells regeneration in the epidermis as well as the dermis via increased collagen and elastin fiber production.

Most people need several treatments (often called photofacials or fotofacials, when used to rejuvenate sun-damaged skin) to see optimal results. They’re typically performed three to four weeks apart.
BEFORE TREATMENT

Avoid Accutane for 6 months

Discontinue use of Retinol, Retin A, AHAs, BHAs, and other active ingredients for one week prior.

Avoid skin resurfacing, laser treatments, and chemical peels 4 weeks prior

Reschedule if you have active acne or rash
DURING TREATMENT

Face will be cleansed

A toner will be used to balance out the skin

Skin is exfoliated with microdermabrasion

Excess dead skin and vellus hair can be derma planed

Extractions with steam if needed

Hydrating mask is applied

Moisturizer and SPF will be applied
